Default Help with 7.3 loss of power

Well i was on my way home last night driving my 2000 f 250 7.3 powerstroke turbo diesel i accelerated pretty quickly i heard one loud pop sound that came from under the hood then i lost power. and then came the sound of constant air escaping from under the hood you only hear this sound when driving....the truck starts up just fine and idles smoothly...?? any idea what could be my problem. Thanks Leon Sly.

Check all the hose connections and hoses coming from the turbo going to the engine air intake. Sounds like a hose burst or clamp let go.

Second that...

Follow the noise/hiss. CAC tube connectors like hanky mentioned, possibly the inter cooler. Should be easy to spot..
