2006 f 250 6.0 diesel crewcab. Drove about 100 miles left truck idoling for 10 minutes went in store and the hor bleww till i disconnected the battery and removed the security fuse.horn went off.now im driving again and the horn blew i hit the horn and it stopped.this morning I put the fuse in and alls good,whats going on

 

there,s a short someplace, maybe under the steering wheel ! if there,s a wire touching metal it will blow the fuse again ! or it could be the horn relay !

There have been times when the pressure pad on the steering wheel for the horn will make contact when it gets hot and expands. If you do have a security system you may need to check that more closely.
