Default How do I fix Hydraulic Line to Clutch Master

Got the hydraulic line and clutch master delivered few days back. In attempt to install, found out that the nipple of the hydraulic hose is larger that the opening in the clutch master where it is supposed to be fixed. see pic.

Pls, how do I get the nipple into the slot?
Thanks,
Eric.

I can't tell from the pix, but depending on how close you might be to an auto supply store (NAPA) there are all sorts of fittings available where you might be able to use what you received. Did you check if the correct line with the correct fitting was available and you just received the wrong one?

I bought it online on Ebay, and made sure it fits by using the VIN. But it appears the nipple plug on the hydraulic hose is bigger (larger diameter) than the socket on the master.

On line purchasing is fine for certain things, but certain other things can be different even if the VIN is used,
If possible , check with a local auto supply store or dealer parts dept, get the right parts the first time and save yourself all this trouble.
