Default How to test Crash Sensor 1997 F250

I have an air bag light that stays on all the time and in this continuing saga I have been checking this and that. With no results that solve the problem.

Now I want to check the air bag crash sensors after I remove them from the truck.

Can someone tell me how to test them?. I am guessing resistance of a certain value means to replace them. Closed or open or something in between. Shorted to ground would be unacceptable I think. But I don't know.

Perhaps a page from a good Ford repair manual.

Thanks. Joe.
