I found a scratch on my new (to me) white F250. I don't know what it is about this truck -- I never cared that much about stuff that happened to my two Civics. But I really feel like I want to take care of this guy. Maybe because it cost more than the two Civics put together LOL.

My question -- can I just buy one of those paint pen things and draw over it? If so, is there a brand that someone would recommend? The scratch is about two inches long and while I don't think anyone actually keyed the truck, that's the width of it.

 

Is the scratch down to or through the primer?

 

I just went to take a picture. I couldn't really capture it, but it's shiny silver inside the scratch. I'm guessing that means through the primer.
