Key in ignition ringer

RE: Key in ignition ringer
You can separate the two column cover 'shroud' halfs or remove the covers lower section.. First, you'll see a 'small' hole in the 'lower cover' near the attaching screw holes.. Turn the key to the 'On' position and insert a small punch or long pin into the hole to release the lockset release tab, (a light push and ease the punch out), while pulling the ignition straight out.. You may need to remove the tilt lever to drop the lower cover.. Lift the top cover slightly for access or remove it.. Then disconnect the single wire grounding contact that attaches/goes to the side of the ignition lock set by 'sliding' it off the lock cylinder well.. S/B a Black/Pink wire on a plastic tab with a small tang/contact.. Move/tape it out of the way...

No..
It would be the same function as if the keys were pulled.. No ground at the key contact, and no key-in-ignition warning.. And the doors still can be locked even with the key in the ignition or running, and still be able to use your remote entry, or keypad..
