LEMON LAW assistance Texas need FORD REP
Hi, new to this Forum but have owned multiple Fords. Currently own an F250 and and a 2019 F350. The issue is with the F350. Below is recurring events with this vehicle. Contacted the initial Ford rep who started the case but will not return Phone calls. Also contacted the Lemon Law Ford Rep and discussed options. Last contact was Aug 25th and he is now not returning phone calls or responding to emails. Truck has been in the Service Dept four times and over 40 days towed multiple times after engine light came on. Last one was a #2 Cylinder code and the service manager came back and said it was a faulty Belt Tensioner( which I think is bunk). Its has had issues since purchase in May . Initial issue was the fuel pump disintegrated and metal shavings were found throughout the fuel system. They cleaned the system, and still had failures. replaced hi and low side and the fuel tank and still received codes. ANY help from forum members of who else we can contact to get this vehicle bought back would be appreciated. Absolutely no confidence in the reliability of this truck Wife's notes below
The vehicle was returned to me on September 8th after being in Northside Ford’s service department since August 15th. While there, I was informed that both the “high and low sides” of the fuel system were replaced, as errors and mechanical faults were found with metal shavings again discovered circulating throughout the system. My husband requested the fuel tank also be replaced as well during this visit. We were assured that it was.
After its return, I drove the vehicle exactly four times and a total of 74 miles this past weekend. Upon turning over the engine yesterday evening, the check engine light was again illuminated. I received notification through the FordPass system that the, “power train control system has reached its cylinder number 2”. This is the same fault message that I received on August 15th, except on that date, cylinder number 5 fuel injector was indicated. As a reminder, I began receiving engine system fault messages on May 31st, just 4 days after purchase.
It appears that the replacement of the fuel system did not remedy the ongoing systemic faults with this vehicle. It was towed again today to Northside Ford.
