Default Locks won't lock

I bought a 2000 F250 today. My electric locks won't work. The manual lock *** jiggles and the actuator makes the noise like it's working, but it doesn't go up or down.
I haven't looked into it yet, but will tomorrow. I was wondering if this may be a problem already discussed.
Any help is appreciated.

New ride:
Red X-cab 5.4L autowith tow package and 4:10 rear. Not much on fuel economy, but I bought it to pull.

The lock/unlock button and the fob both just 'bump' the lock pulls? Pretty common for the actuator motors to fail, even both sides... Did a 'set' just 3 days ago....

Not what I wanted to hear, I have the same exact problem with my 2000 F250 I just bought. Barely move, both sides. Is it better to get aftermarket actuators? What do they run $$?
