Default Need a mechanic’s advice

I have a 2008 6.4L power stroke. I have a wiring issue to my number 7 injector so it’s mis-firing.
My question is, if I drive it every once in a while until it gets fixed, will that ruin anything in the engine?
I would appreciate anyone’s knowledge on this, thanks!

Always more questions.

How was it determined to be a wiring problem and not the injector itself?
When we allow ,other than normal, things to take place, we open the door for the problems that come with the original problem.
Any driving with a cyl not firing stresses other parts and should be avoided if possible.
