Default No fluid passing ABS pump after rear line replacement

99' F350 7.3 Rear Wheel only ABS.
Roached out brake line busted (the one that runs from the ABS pump to the rear axle behind the fuel tank along rail), replaced ALL hard lines throughout and cannot get any fluid to the rear axle. Replaced master cylinder and attempted a multitude of brake bleeding techniques, none of which have been successful. Fluid is present at the 2 outlet lines from master, and the inlet line to the ABS pump, but nothing on the other side of the pump. For the record, all brakes were functioning fine before I sprung a leak. Anyone have experience with this sort of issue?

Maybe in the process of replacing parts something was moved. Did you get a chance to check all the fuses . In the vehicle and the engine compartment.

Not a fuse, I already checked...

Three things,
First, check the plug that goes under the ABS pump module to make sure it is clean and all the way plugged in.
Second , did you attempt to see if the module will respond if the key was on?

Last, the new lines had to be flared, any possibility of a restriction from the flaring work?

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, I checked all connections leading into the ABS pump, I also checked the 60 amp fuse in the engine bay as well as the 5 amp in the cab fuse box. I did attempt bleeding key on, even engine on, with no change. Out of the lines I used I only had to flare one, I bought a pre bent pre flared kit and double checked all flares. I am beginning to think that the only way to activate a rear wheel only ABS pump is with the proper scan tool... I really don't want to take it into the dealership for this, I am hoping to find someone local with a scanner. With all wheel ABS I've heard of people driving on loose gravel or mud to engage the ABS and purge the air but with the pump only controlling the rear wheels, that obviously isn't an option.

The vehicle is old enough I imagine a higher end scan tool could activate the ABS pump, There is always ForScan but I do not know what years it works with. Autel is a good brand for tpms and obd2 tools, you might have to pay in the $200-$300 range though.

If you are brave enough I can check the wiring diagrams to see if you could jump power to the pump to run it without using obd2, no idea if that will work though.

I contacted Autel, unfortunately their software does not support my YMMV. I have also contacted Foxwell I am waiting to hear back from their support team, their scanner is around $200 (which I am willing to spend if it gets the job done, the dealership would likely be close to that amount anyway) I am dumbfounded that there is no other work around for this issue. It's very frustrating

I would give the full version (on a Windows PC) of ForScan a try.

That is a good idea, I just found out about this software, hopefully it has the capability to run an auto bleed on a 99'...
