Default No wipers and tail lights

No wipers and tail lights. The turn signal, hazards and brake lights work. The warning lights wont turn on.

I replaced the multifunction switch and went through the fuses and relays. The only bad fuse was the tow battery charge. Now I'm not sure where to look?

In the back of the manual, is the alphabetical index. Look for the page(s) that show the fuse and relay panel. . There you should also find what fuse protects what and what relay works what. Now you can concentrate your efforts on those areas to start checking.

On the fuses,, did you check that power distribution is present on the related fuses, or just visual?

Did the tail lamps and wipers quit at the same time? Or, just the two aren’t working?

Fuses for the lamps S/B F2.17 15amp, F2.7 30amp both in the CJB
Fuses for the wipers S/B F1.1 30amp BJB, F2.33 CJB
Being the circuit protections aren’t shared by the two features, probably not related.

If the fuses prove out, Id test for switched power out of the H/L switch (tail/running lamps doesn’t route through the multi) to verify its present,, and switched/control power at the WW motor . If you need some illustrations, let me know.. Could be the motor is failed..

Fuses all are good. I took off the wiper motor and tried to put 12v to it and I got a click on small middle terminals but nothing on outside bigger 4. Except when I crossed them and wire started to melt.

The harness has 12v across the 2 big outside terminals and 5v on another. Sounds like bad motor?

The other had 12v not 5v. So there was 12- and 2 12+. Think its bad. Gonna run and grab a motor and find out.

That wouldve helped earlier. I believe one of the 12+ was the signal and the other power. So I swapped the wiper motor out and it works. I couldnt figure out how to bench test it. I tried what I did with the bad one but it wouldnt move either. So I guess the answer is to test the harness.

Gonna look at the headlight switch and see what I come up with for taillights. Do you have something for that?

I can send you any schematics your need..
You mentioned the hazards weren’t working as well?

Are the front parks and mirror lamps working? License lamps?
