oil change/capacity

I just purchased a 1991 F 350 7.3L Diesel. How many quarts of oil does it hold. And is this just another routine oil change like any other truck or car? Thanks.

Keep putting oil in until the dipstick reads normal, duh!

Check the owners manual. My 2001 holds 15 quarts.

Crankcase Capacity, 10 qts. w/ Motorcraft FL-784 (factory) oil filter, 11 qts. with MotocraftFL-1995 (7.3 Powerstroke) Filter.
