Default Problems w/250 diesel 6.0?????

I was told not to buy the Ford F250 Diesel 6.0 turbo because they have to many problems with the engine. Is this correct?? Has anybody had any problems with their 6.0 diesels? I want to buy this truck and now I am shying away because of this rumor. Please anyone give me some input.

The new 6.0L Diesel offered in Ford products has been riddled with problems. I would get an older model with a 7.3L if I were you.

I have an 06 6.0 with no issues but there are people that have had some problems with them, I know of two people that have blown turbos on the 06 in less that 2000 miles with no abuse, they were replaced under warranty. The 03 is the first year that the 6.0 was out and that is the one that there is most problems with. Other than that head gaskets and turbos are known issues.
