Default Remove The Transfer Case!

First in a series of questions I guess...2015 F-350 and I need to drop transfer case. Is that a "dry" project or will oil be everywhere when I separate from transmission?! I have Haynes and also factory service manual but no answer that I could find.

Thanks to all who who have been through this and willing to assist.

There's also no gasket between the 2.. Be sure to index mark the shafts/yokes prior to removal...
On the T case install, hand tighten 2 opposing bolts, cross pattern tighten ending at 40 lb-ft..
