Hey, I have a 99 7.3L, I'm thinking of installing an s & b air intake, get some more power and fuel eco. Is it safe for the engine, also is it neccesary to do the exhaust upgrade aswell or can I get by with just the intake? Thanks

 

yes,put it on.making it breath better is always a plus.mines been on forever.i just replace filter as soon as i see dirt.runs great ,and you should notice a couple xtra ponys pulling.that upgrade does not need any other mods.
