Yes, but you have three redundant position sensors on that throttle sensor (pedal assembly), and all kinds of logic that prevents having issues from it. It is also very well instrumented so you will see codes if any of the sensors disagree from the others.
More likely it is an issue w/ an injector, a FICM, fuel pressure/supply, the high pressure oil system, a bad ICP sensor, or maybe even the EGR system.
You need codes and engine data to troubleshoot.
Smartphone apps are the way to go now. for $40 you can download ForScan and get the required ELM327 OBDII adapter and have an VERY good code reader and you can use it to pull FICM data, EGR data, and High Pressure Oil data.
You can't get fuel pressure from it unfortunately - that requires an add-on sensor and gauge (which is very necessary IMO or you will lose injectors due to low fuel pressure).
