Can anyone explain why my TPMS on the ford pass app AND the monitoring system on the truck dash itself would tell me that the wrong tire on the rear was losing air?
I had both systems say the inside rear driver tire was the culprit when in fact it was the outside tire.

Don't know how much help this will be, but if only the outside tire was programmed, the system only knows what it i9s told.

 

I had 6 new tennis shoes installed and they didn't get the valve stem on the outside tire snug. But the inside tire was showing it was low even though it had the recommended pressure.
They did a hard reset on them when they found the problem and all 6 are reading now. Just thought it was weird that both systems were telling me the wrong tire.
