Default Tranny Info Help Please...

'95 F-250 Super Cab w/ 8 FT bed
7.5L 460 and C6

I'm looking to swap out the C6 for a 5spd but I'm unfamiliar with fords tranny's and if there is even a bell housing / tranny to support this project. I'm assuming the bolt patter on the bell housing would be different between the C6 and 5spd.

Fulll size trucks seem to be impossible to find tech info for... Also I've been using LMC for most of my parts but who else is good for OEM / aftermarket parts for these year trucks?

Help would be greatly appreciated, hopefully this post is in the fng section.

Check this outfit for a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission conversion.

I had just read a few pages about the ZF transmission when you replied and that site is by far more informative than everything I had found so far.

Thanks!

Question on something simplier... Would the 4spd out of a 80-86 2wd F-250 with the 7.5 bolt right in as far as the T-case and bell housing?
