Default Transmission downshifting unexpectedly

2022 F-250 7.3ltr gas - 10sp transmission 18,500 miles
Thursday June 8 around 2:00 pm I had cruise control set to 73 MPH and the map was set to ECO. I was not pulling a trailer and was not loaded very heavy. At first, I experienced the motor started cutting out, coughing and missing then all of a sudden the transmission started downshifting. I noticed the RPM dial was pegging 7.000rpm. I did not focus on what gears the transmission was in or skipping but by the time I got pulled over to the shoulder of the road, the transmission was in 1st gear. Once I got my bearings and started looking at the dash board, the motor died on its own. I waited about 1 minute then I started the motor, put it in drive and drove to the nearest Ford dealer which was in Byron Georgia. Reluctantly, they put the scanner on the truck and said the only code that came back was for the trailer brake. Other occurrences which happen on regular basis is the truck will lunge when sitting still in drive. The motor will cut out, it feels like a motor misfires while driving at a constant speed or sitting still.
