Hello All. First time post. Sorry if this has been asked before - I didn't see it on the first few pages. I'm buying an RV (5th wheel or travel trailer) and I'm looking at ford f250 6.7l turbo diesels. When I post this on the RV forums I get a lot of warnings to stay away from f250's years 2008 - 2010. They claim there are a lot of motor issues. From your experience, does this seem like a legitimate issue? And if so, are there better years than others (before and after 2008 - 2010)? Thanks again for the help.

 

The 6.7L wasn't in the 08 to 10 Superduty's. They had the 6.4L. Personally I would agree with the statement to avoid them, but I do have a friend that bought one used and is having good luck with it. I would probably avoid the first few years of the 6.7L also.
