Default Truck pulls side to side

So my truck pulls slightly to one side so I grab the steering to straighten it our but as I do that it wants to pull to the other side. So basically it's hard to get the truck going straight. Now, I just changed out the upper and lower ball joints, the tie rod ends on each side, the steering column, and wheel bearings, and an alignment. The truck is still hard to keep it going straight because like I said if it pulls to one side I will grab the steering wheel and get it back to straight but then it pulls to the other side. What could it be????? I have a 2004 Ford f250 6.0 diesel.

Welcome to the site..

Who's ball joints?
Its fairly common during replacement generally using aftermarket, or, if the ball joints are over tightened to bind the spindle/s a bit causing steering over corrections from off center..
During the the replacement, the spindles should swing stop to stop with only slight manual drag. If they had to be forced, it causes over steer and less free wheel spin/return..

You preformed the ball joint work?
If the issue wasn't there prior to the work done, Id remove the tires, and the release the tie rods. Double check the amount of force needed to swing the spindles. If excessive, it needs to be corrected. I've run into this type issue, may not be your concern, but each time it was aftermarket joints used and/or the owners possibly over torque the BJ nuts adding in over spec tension between the upper and lowers.

Did anybody check out the steering box itself? Excessive slop in the adjustments might be present.

There is some play in the steering wheel but I've already changed out gearbox. I'm gonna go ahead and rotate the tires and rebalance them and then take a back to the alignment shop and see if they can I re adjust to because the tire same kind of slanted in a little bit

That’s why I asked if the pulling issue was there ‘prior’ to the front end work. More so the ball joints..

Any alignment shop worth their salt would or should check the steering box lash/free play before alignment begins as part of the steering wheel centering.

Generally any slop in the box will cause or present itself as steering ‘wander’ .
But when the ball joints are replaced, if they’re not toqued to spec (or the shank tapper may be off or forced ), the tapper ends get pulled or drawn too deep into the spindles causing a ‘pinch’ point/s and a more severe rotational drag can result.. The drag causes steering ‘dive’ or having the operator/hardware to make countinous jerking movements making center lane position or steering wheel return spin less ‘free’.
Quite often the large ball joint nuts arent torqued at all, and some get pulled way too tight with a breaker bar and cheater or ? and the problems begin.

The steering box was replaced to try and correct the problem? Was it’s lash checked on install?
Or, the problem was there prior to all work done, including the box?
