I want to lift my '03 f350, nothing huge, and want some feed back on lifts and tires. I have a 40' 5th wheel toy hauler, and want to make sure everything is safe for pulling it. Thanks.

 

Not sure if this will help you, but I had a Fabtech 5.5" lift on my '01 and pulled a 48 foot gooseneck every other weekend. Many trailer manufactures offer there trailers with different axel configurations to make everything work with todays higher riding trucks and slight lifts. When I ordered my trailer, I informed them that I was using a lift and the delivered a trailer that was a perfect match to my setup. I have since removed the lift and for a year or so my trailer looked quite silly behind my truck being that it was riding a bit higher. I have since sold that trailer and purchased a new one, so everything is back to normal. If it helps, at the time I was runing 37" tires with 4:10 gears.

 

I forgot to say that while I was running 35" tires with the same lift, no modification were needed for the trailer. I actually sat better than it did with the stock truck, I would guess that with the lift the front came up 5.5", but the rear only enough to sit level, therfor making the trailer more level than it was at stock ride height on the truck.

I ran a set of those same tires on my stock rims, they worked out very well and lasted quite a long time. I would recommend keeping them inflated to there max psi, I think it was 50, but not positive.
