I'm looking for a truck to haul my landscaping equipment, snow plow with, and do construction work that these trucks are meant for. Does anyone know or care to share their opinion on which year had the least issues and performed the best. I heard the 08's and even the 2011's had issues with turbos and trans, and fuel injectors. Can anyone back this up or prove this to be untrue? Let me know your opinions please.

 

i assume you will be getting a diesel? if so, the only real problem i've heard about them in the early 08 models with the injector problems that blow fire out the tail pipe but other than that i haven't heard anything bad on them

 

Late model 6.0 if you go older,, stay away from the 6.4 if for nothing less the terrible MPG's!,, or better/best go with the 6.7 if funds allow..
