Brake caliper making noise
Front drivers side brake caliper making a grinding like noise while driving that goes away when I press the brake pedal that's getting worse sounding. Had another caliper make a similar noise and my mechanic told me it was a pin that stuck. He's not getting back to me now so I wanted to see if anybody had a similar experience and if its okay to drive or if I have to replace it asap. I tried to get a video but all you can hear is wind 🤷

Anytime we have something that involves the brake system, we don't fool around because it is a safety feature.
Sometimes it can be nothing serious, but the brake system should be in good shape ALL the time.
Until we know for sure exactly what is the problem, best to always treat it as serious until known otherwise.
I would hope your mechanic would at least check it for you so you could know if you can drive the vehicle in it's present condition.

Could go to your tire store and ask them to do a brake check, usually free. Be aware that if it's a significant brake problem (sounds like it is) they are legally prohibited from letting you drive away without repair. Tire stores do brake repairs (maybe not the box stores).
