Break light question

Break light question

just bought ‘05 Five Hundred. When key is out, the brake lights do not light. Just replaced brake light switch and it had no impact. Is this a feature or a bug?

Welcome ^^^, your first post. Hope you stay around so we can help each other as needed - I'm into 4th month of 2006 Ford 500 ownership.

So, went to check on your brake question. Nope, the brake lights do NOT come on when stepping on the brake pedal if there's no key in the ignition.
