The problem I had with the car has returned.
The cruise control will not activate, and occasionally, with the ignition switch on, the brake lights illuminate.
The problem has happened intermittently since it was new(2007). It went into the dealer once, and they adjusted the brake pedal switch which took care of the problem most of the time. The rest of the time I have gotten used to lifting the pedal with my foot, and that solves the problem until the next bump in the road or brake activation.
Will have the dealer readjust the switch next time I take it in for maintenance.
Or is this a problem with the switch?
