Default Engine removal

Hey folks, new to the forum trying to get a 500 up and running for a guy that is in pretty bad shape. The guy, not the car. He needs it to get to chemo treatment.
I've not no compression on cylinder 4 and I don't have the time to pull the heads and putz with the timing chain. Looking to drop in a used motor. Any help would be appreciated.
He has an 07 SEL with the 6-speed tranny. I'm not great with the search tool, but I did search and couldn't find anything.
Looks like the service manual tells you to drop the whole front clip out the bottom and pull the engine off the K frame.
I don't have that ability. Is it possible to pull the engine out the top? Do I have to take the tranny off first?
Any tips or tricks would be awesome.
Thanks all.

Default Completed?

Did you ever change out the engine? Any tricks/help you can offer? Love my car, 217,000 miles and hearing what I believe is bearing knock. So am considering rebuilding the engine
