Headlight Switch backlight bulb replacement

I noticed that the backlight in my headlight switch had burned out. Ford offers no replacement. I pulled the switch from the dash( very easy to do) and on the back of the switch is a bulb that 1/4 twists into place. Doing some searching on the net I cannot determine exactly what kind of bulb this is. Any help?

Never replaced one..

Bulb pull straight out?
If so, like the old clock, radio backlight etc micro bulbs Ford used, there are two different candle power bulbs. It may say printed on the bulb.
Looks like it’s suffered from some heat. May just be a lost connection, or bulb..

pain in the rear for such a small part

looks like the bulb has long leads that come out the bottom and bend around to make the connection

These are called micro wedge base bulbs.

There are 2 that look exactly alike, and either would work. One being a smidge brighter.
A #74 which is 1.4 watt, and a #37 is 1.26 watt..

Generally the bulb number is printed on its face and with a magnifying glass visible., sometimes’

Insert led in base and wrap around contact points just like original bulb
