I have a light out for my speedometer. Do I have to pull out the instrument cluster to put a light in? Or do I have to get a whole new cluster?

 

Yes, you have to remove cluster to replace any burnt out bulbs . ALL cars ever made are like that!! WHICH light? The ones for the speedo, tach, fuel, temp gauges? Or the small green, electronic info area?

 

I got a box of 10 bulbs for cheap at O'Reilly. You will need to remove the instrument cluster from the dash to replace the bulbs. I suggest replacing *all* the bulbs while you have the cluster out since it is a hassle to remove and replace. The bulbs are not expensive. Google "Ford Five Hundred instrument cluster" if you need help taking it out. There is no need to buy a new cluster.
