I just installed a new CV axle, front drivers side. Since then, I have a noise (it sounds like something is loose). However, I checked everything over and also checked to make sure I hadn't left anything in there.

I am wondering if it could be that the new axle is faulty or if there might be another reason?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Could you be a little more descriptive as to just what the noise sounds like? Is it a heavy rattle,.rubbing or other type noise ?

The more info you can provide the better. Many times one person will describe a noise differently from another person's description..
