My air conditioner works great almost too good at times, however on fan setting 1 -2 it whistles. annoying (nothing the radio won't help) any ideas what or why this happens. It has done this for awhile.

 

If the whistling is coming from the blower motor assy, the bearings are dry and need some lubrication.
If the whistle is coming from the ducts then you have an opening somewhere in the ducts (passages) and the inrushing air creates a whistling effect . This can happen at certain speeds of air movement. If your vehicle has a cabin air filter , it would pay to check it out for being plugged or possibly loose. Let us know if this was any help.
