Backup Lights Stopped Working

Default Backup Lights Stopped Working
I have a 2005 Ford Focus Wagon standard transmission. This evening, my backup lights stopped working. I changed the fuse (#53 for a standard transmission, and I also changed #40, just in case)but no difference. The light bulbs also appear to be fine.

Does anyone have any ideas what else to check?
