FOCUS 1999 service & repair manual

A place to check for good actual shop manuals for that year would be "Helm Inc". I realize pdf is a lot cheaper, but the info is always immediately available and you can get to the subject quicker and easier. The manuals sometime come as a set and are a very good investment if you are planning to keep the vehicle . They can cost a good buck, but as I suggested , it is a good investment.

Welcome to the site..
eBay can be a good source for Ford Shop manuals at a reasonable price.
I've sold complete sets there, and sometimes you can pick up shop DVD manual sets as well. I looked and have 99 Ford Truck on DVD, but no car disks. Car/swap meets, with some luck, can score manuals. Or, if you have a specific area of need or task, post up a request and we should be able to provide some info..

I just purchased the Helm CD version for my MKX (Edge).
It cost $177.00 including shipping.
I am having problems. I want to use it with my tablet computer in my garage where I will be working on the vehicle.
The tablet doesn't have a CD drive. When I need a CD drive while using the tablet I just access the CD drive on my desktop over my network.
I can't get the Helm manual to work this way. I refuse to have to go to my desktop in my living room while working on the vehicle and covered in crud. I am trying to work with Helm and some company named SecuROM which seems to be involved with securing the CD from pirates.
I hope I can get this resolved.
Anyone considering Helm might want to keep this in mind.
Pete
