Hi. i have a problem with my focus. No response from throttle pedal a lot of times. and i have cog mark on dashboard. I plug obd scaner and i get codes:
In PCM:P193B Throttle/Pedal Signal. There is no change in the signal.
In IC: C1750 Accelerator Position Sensor Out Of Range.
I changed throttle pedal but its same. I look in Forscan for pedal signal, when DTC comes up, pedal still have signal and giving good signal. But when i checked Throttle sensor on IC its showing between 0.39v to 1.25v but when DTC comes up and voltage going down to zero,but pedal working just a lot of times no response from him. So its problem with IC? Need resolder something? Or its something bad in engine bay? Sorry for not so good english

 

Can you tell us how many wires does the throttle pedal sensor have?
There are some with 6 wires and some with 7 wires.


Can you tell us what the reading is ;
with the pedal up
with the pedal down
Out of range could be poor ground connection or sensor worn.



You may wind up having to replace the throttle body if the readings are not consistent steady and smooth .

 

Its 6 pin connector. I have a live stream data from forscan, so put file here or make video and upload in youtube? I didint saw TB on this engine. I see just anti shudder valve.
Solved for me: in passenger side, near door behinde plastic, there is two connectors small one and big one. in small one my problem. So i bend contacts of connector for good contact and problem solved. I bend contacts for big connector too, because there is ESP and something more. So i dont wana more problems i this connector in future
