Default starting problems

i just bought a 2001 focus that didnt have a key for it...so i got a key made and everything seems to work fine...radio, lights, gauges, etc. except for one little problem...well HUGE problem it wont start...the starter wont turn at all, there is power going to it cause the radio shuts off when i turn it over, and it makes a clicking noise out of the dash some where...sometimes...some other times it just dings a constant tone...PLEASE HELP!!! IDK WHAT TO DO AND I REALLY NEED TO DRIVE THIS THING, its got lowered susp. body kit, wheels the works!!!! it virtually scrapes the ground just sitting in my garage...please anyone just give me some things to check or trouble shootings anything!!! i just gotta drive my baby!!!!

That car is equipped with PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System). If you had no keys, you'll need to buy 2 PATS keys and have the car programmed to recognize them before you'll ever get it to start. The dealer can program it but, you'll probably have to get it towed there. Very doubtful you'll get someone to come out to you for it.

yeah i know that and had the key made/ programmed and all but that doesnt seem to be the problem
