Lightbulb TIMING BELT replacement

Recently I have purchased a Ford Focus 2007 1.6 Petrol, 185 000 Kilometers. in the service book doesn't look like the timing belt is ever changed.
I need to know if TIMING BELT need to be changed. How can I notice if I need to change it ????
is it possible that the original belt to last 10 years and 185 000 Kilometers????
Thanks in advance for replying

I'm pretty sure you will agree there is nothing like doing a job at your convenience.
If I purchased a vehicle with a timing belt and the former owner told me , oh yeh , the belt was just changed last year I still would change it !!!!
Think about what can happen if it breaks or jumps time while you are only 10 km from home. Now it has to be towed the belt replaced and hopefully no damage was done to the engine.. My suggestion would be to have it replaced by a competent shop/person and anything else in there while it is open.. If you owned it for the last 10 years and you have that kind of luck,, I would consider playing the lottery or at the track. lol thanks.
