I love my 97 Escort (actually I share it wiht my GF) but I love this thing! BU tht emajor drawback isI want mroe power. Is Ford gonna introduce a new small sedan along the lines of the SVT Contour or the SHO but in a Focus lineup? I really think they should, to battle the Jap competition wiht a small sedan as well!!!!

 

i think that the closest yorue gonna see to something like that is the SVT focus

 

they stopped making the focus SVT in 2004, and will stop making the focus all together this year but look out for the focus replacement the '06 Fussion, the same platform as the focus with 200 hp engine

The Fusion was not made to be a replacement for the Focus!

 

The fusion is a mid-size car not a sport compact. Also the Focus is going to change its us design more to the european layout in 08.
