Default 2003 F250 electrical issue

Instruments and pwr windows quit working. Changed fuse, even though ok. Have pwr leaving the fenderwall junction (#4 cable) going to the cab. Believe it's not feeding same. How does it connect to these circuits? Any words of wisdom out there?

As a starting point, power comes from the battery positive post connection and feeds the cable going to the junction.

That cable then feeds the inst cluster and the CJB (Central Junction Box) which is under the dash on driver's side.
Can you do this, carefully remove that nut that holds the wires to that junction and clean the post and the connections there at the junction.
I say carefully because the cables there are hot with battery voltage of 12+ volts and if any of those cables touch any metal that is grounded, you could become an unintended welder

The smart thing to do would be to remove the battery negative cable from the battery before cleaning those connections.
After cleaning them with wire brush or sandpaper , put the battery cable back on the battery post. See if that takes care of the problem and please let us know , OK. thanks.

Well my message went through this time.havin trouble navigating. I've never seen a terminal connection like this one, on the other end of the cable, that hooks to the terminal block mtd on the fenderwall.they reduced the 4awg down to 2 small wires with eyelets, molded in gray rubber. Don't know why they didn't just put a 4awg copper lug on it like i did!!

Those little gray wires were "Fusible Links". The colors tell the protection rating. They were there for a reason.

Without looking to visually check , a compete reassessment of your work is necessary.

You can' just go changing stuff. There is a good possibility that is the problem area, but without physi9cally looking don't know where to start.
