2015 Focus
I’m new to the page. Stumbled upon it while down a google rabbit hole. I have a 2015 Ford Focus SE with 88,000. I had TCM failure over the summer and had it replaced under warranty. Went to go out tonight and while in stop and go traffic the engine decides not to accelerate. It revs but goes no where (right in the middle of a busy intersection which is fun) I shut the car off and turned it back on and it moved…. But about 2 miles later does it again. I was able to restart again and get it home. I have a cheap code reader and it’s throwing P0805 clutch position sensor circuit. I know nothing about cars so I go down my rabbit hole and from what I can understand it could be an actuator but conversations about the TCM keep popping up too. Is it possible and or probable that the TCM failed again or am I just paranoid? The Friday before Christmas too… I’m trying not to panic. Anyone been through anything similar? Thanks in advance.
