2018 Sirius XM issue

I fall under a Ford SSM 47499 (known issue with only 2018 Explores and Escapes, won't hold the Sirius signal) but my dealership is happy to sit back and wait for Ford to contact them for a fix. I have submitted a help ticket request through Ford and they are of no help ("keep in touch with your dealership"). Meanwhile, my brand new car's Sirius radio is not working and I seem to be the only one that cares. Anyone have this issue and your dealership has fixed it? The SSM says they are working on it but that was in Aug....a few months and their engineers can't find a fix? I can't get info from anyone about whether it is being actively worked for a repair/replacement plan. Frustrating. Anyone have the inside scoop on Ford's Technical hotline?

If they've run the diagnostic on it, and no codes/issues were found, they have to wait for engineering's fix. Does the Sirius not work, or just drops its signal on occasion?
