95 e150
Read the codes. Said distributer was out. Changed it but still won't fire. Checked ignition module it said it worked. I was told it could be the crankshaft positioning sensor but then was told the 95 didn't have one. If it has one where is it and of not why won't my van start. It'll roll over but not start.
Can you provide the codes you are talking about?
What is generally checked, is if the engine has fuel, spark and air available at the right time it should start.
Changing a distributor can get pretty tricky and any one incorrect step and it either will not start or run right.
There is a laundry list as long as your arm with possible causes as to why an engine will not start. If the basics of fuel, spark and air are available at the correct time and it still won't start, then we need to determine based on which are absent the reason why.
Could you provide the engine size , if automatic trans, and recent maintenance history ?
