Engine swap
I have a 2002 f150 it currently has a 4.6 engine , which needs to be replaced, my question is will a 5.4 engine swap work? Would all of the sensors be the same and the original 4.6 computer work with the 5.4,,, is there anything I would have to add or replace electronics wise ?.

A swap would certainly be possible, but as far as a direct install, No.. Considering all the engine management pieces, build specific hardware, cost may play the upper hand unless a bigger displacement is the goal. When doing a swap, generally if you can find a donor it makes for a better/easier task, and costs are somewhere in reality..
