Default F100 brake line leaks

Hi I'm new to the forum, I'm currently working on a 64 F100 and have pretty much given it a complete brake job. All is good except both rear lines going into the rear wheel cylinders. Anybody have any suggestions on how I might fix my drips?

Hi Ar,

Always glad to have new folks aboard.
Brake lines can be troublesome sometimes especially if rusted a lot.
Because of the age it might just be best if you were to replace both of those lines.
There are brake lines already made up and can be installed pretty quickly. I know NAPA has various sizes available and the tubing is pretty easy to form so it would just about match what you removed.. Brake lines must be steel.. For that age you might consider also replacing the hose back there If the lines are in good condition where are the drips coming from? I know you stated at the wheel cyls, but did you have trouble getting the nuts started ?

Being in Arizona, I am going to assume you have little rust underneath. Myself, if the lines are in good shape overall, I would replace the steel lines ( I believe they are 3/16 inch) from each wheel cylinder to the first connection point..You can measure the lengths and buy premade lines so you will not have to buy a flare tool. You can get unions to piece the lines together. I would also replace the wheel cylinders because they are cheap, easy to do and are prone to leak fluid all over the shoes.Bleed the system and you are good to go.
