2000 5.4 Eddie Bauer 4x4 Expedition idles rough during winter months

 

My wife's truck had some idling issues, but it was on a 4.6. anyway this always fixs it. I take the rubber hose off the throttle body where you can see the throat area where the metal flap opens and closes. All I do is take a can of throttle body cleaner and an old toothbrush and clean that flap( front and back) and around the contact areas where it closes. It really smoths out the idling.
