Hiya folks new here I have a question for anyone. I'm building a 460 and I'm putting a 34-600-5 comp cam in it . PROBLEM IS THAT THE CAM IS IN BUT THE LIFTERS LOOK LIKE there real close to the next lobe I mean close. I've talked to comp cam's and they say it's right, but I've built quite a few engine's and never seen them this close. I sent one back cause the cam bolt was too long so I bought a ARP bolt and it was too long so between summit and comp cams we ended agreeing to cut 1/4 off the bolt. Question is ANYONE BEEN HERE BEFORE?If the cam isn't right I need to know before I finish it. thank's for any help. by the way It's a flat tappet.

Cam ID markings match the product box?

Odd that the bolt had issues, generally the developer is aware or noted in the install directions if any change,
Gonna degree the cam?

 

ID matches talked to comp cams there checking it out but said to cut 1/4 off ARP bolt.
