I have a 2007 F150 4x4 with the 5.4 Triton and recently, after hunter hunting season i noticed a puddle under my truck. Turns out the upper inlet port for the transmission oil cooler is leaking. Its the integrated style cooler which is inside the radiator. Im guessing the internal seal on the fitting is ruined and is allowing oil to get by and after several failed attempts to remove the fitting i gave up. Is there a way to remove the quick connect fitting from the hose? Are new quick connect fitting available for purchase? Im hoping to save my transmission hose as it looks to be a pain to replace.
