Does anyone know what is the name/type of transmission a 87 ford econoline 150 4.9L. Its a 4speed manual transmission, with 4th being overdrive. Vin # 1FTDE14Y2HH11364. I would like to know if its like a C6 or sometype of toploader transmission, even though its an 87, it seems to look like a toploader transmission to me, but im not sure. Im looking for a shifter mechanism, so I first need to know what transmission it is. Any help will be very good, the guys at a ford dealer said the vin didnt help them, so I dont know it will here.
