went to start, heard a snap, no power!????
my 1994 ranger was running fine, shut it off, turned the key to start it, I heard a loud snap, now I dont have any power what so ever. All the fuses are good. Now what???
How did you check the fuses, just sight or with a test lite?
If just sight, some Ford products have a heavy duty circuit breaker in the positive side of the supply from the battery to the fuse block . See if you can trace the positive feed from the battery to the fuse section and look for a circuit breaker. They usually have a reset button on them. Otherwise, you need to check with a test lite or voltmeter to confirm there are no open feeds to the vehicle.
