The engine light is on, on my 04 freestar.I used the obd reader and it read the code P0053 and P2195.The P2195 is the engine oil temp sensor.I am not sure if that is the problem or the P0053 code is the problem.I am unable to find out what the P0053 code means.I used the obd to reset the light, but it just came back on the next day.....any help would be appreciated

Both of the codes are for the Bank 1 Sensor 1 oxygen sensor (H02S-11).. Code 53 is for the H20S-11 heater circuit 'current requirements/resistance' is either high, or to low.. And the 2195 is set for lack of 'switching/ranging' inidcating extended lean/low voltage..

 

would i then just replace the o2 sensors and the light then should turn off?......or would this be a fuse issue due to the lack of or greater capacity of voltage
