This summer our Freestar has been exhibiting an odd behavior with the A/C.

The passenger side in the front will blow cold air all the time. The driver's side will blow cold air, part of the time. The rear A/C, cold all the time.

So do I have to take the dash apart to figure out what the problem is with our vents, or is it possibly the thermostat for the driver's side? It's dual zone climate control.

I don't really even have a clue where to start with this one, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

 

i had the same problem had to replace the climate control unit.....
